About Jordan Festival

Jordanian heritage, shared from Houston.

Jordan Festival celebrates Jordanian culture, heritage and traditions. Starting in Houston, Texas, it brings the spirit of Jordan to communities across the United States: for Jordanian-Americans, for the wider Levantine community, and for everyone curious to know Jordan.

Our story

A heritage we carry with us, and celebrate together.

Jordan Festival exists to celebrate Jordanian history, community and culture in the United States: the traditions, flavors, arts and stories that make Jordan what it is, and the community that keeps them alive far from home.

Jordan has always been a crossroads where cultures meet. Arabs, Circassians, Armenians, Chechens and Druze have shaped its traditions together, and that diverse cultural mosaic is part of what we celebrate.

It is made for Jordanians abroad and Jordanian-Americans, for the wider Levantine community, and for everyone curious to know Jordan: a place to share its heritage with new generations and to welcome friends and neighbors to it.

From Jordan to America

An enduring cultural bridge between Jordan and the United States.

The journey began with students and scholars, and grew into a Jordanian community with a presence in education, medicine, technology and the arts. Jordan Festival is part of that bridge: it carries Jordan’s heritage forward and shares it widely.

Four threads of one story.

Culture, gastronomy, arts and community: each carries part of Jordan’s heritage, and together they tell the story of who we are.
